When we follow Jesus fully and honor God with our finances, we put Him first in our heart as an act of obedience, love, worship and trust.
God is the provider of everything we have, which makes us stewards of what He has given us. God does not need our money, but the Bible makes it clear that He desires to be first in every area of our life, including our finances.
When you give to LWC, it creates opportunities and places for people of all ages to gather, connect with others and serve our community.
It is in these places that people regularly experience life change. There is no greater investment you can make than reaching those who were once far from God and are now living a life changed by Christ.
If you have been tithing for a while, you have seen firsthand how God changes lives through what we give.
"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver."
When we consider giving above our first 10%, we are called to give cheerfully. We are not limited to 10%, and only you know what God may be asking of you. Talk to God, listen to what He is saying, and decide in your heart how much to give.
