At Living Word Chapel, we don’t want your first visit to feel confusing or distant—we want it to feel clear, intentional, and worth your time.
When you fill out the Plan Your Visit form, it simply lets us prepare for you so you can walk in ready—not guessing.
We’ll:
- Get your kids checked in ahead of time (if needed)
- Make sure you know exactly where to go and what to expect
- Answer any questions before you even arrive

What is predictable, though, is that you’ll always hear solid and powerful Bible teachings, experience passionate God-centered worship, and enjoy life-changing community with others.
We are doggedly committed to being a church that takes God’s Word seriously, believes in healing the sick and raising the dead, and that cares deeply about connecting people to God and each other.
How someone dresses isn’t a big deal at Living Word Chapel (as long as you’re wearing something)! We have some in flip-flops and shorts in the summer and some are more business casual or in jeans. We’re pretty relaxed.
If you are able, we encourage everyone to bring a Bible, whether that is a printed copy or on a smartphone or tablet. But more than that, we hope that you bring a heart that is ready to participate in worship that glorifies God and is prepared to be transformed by the powerful Word of God.
Our Living Word kids and student ministries offers a safe and loving place for children of all ages to learn about Jesus. Our desire to partner with parents to raise up children and youth to become committed followers of Christ. Our worship services for children all ages take place during both services in our Daycare. Junior High and High School students gather during both services on Sundays at 10am.
For your first visit, try visiting the Connections Counter at the Foyer. We would love to meet you, talk, and help you connect with what God is doing at Living Word Chapel. Our Connections Counter is also a great place to find information and ask for directions! We believe growth in our faith is most effective in community, so we encourage everyone in the Living Word church family to connect beyond Sunday worship services. We have Life Groups for every adult based around your life stage, ministries for men and women, singles, youths, 8-10 week Equip Bible Classes, outreach events, and more!
We are located at 13833 Richmond Ave @ Hwy 6, Houston, TX 77082. We meet every Wednesday at 7pm for Bible Study and every Thursday at 7pm for Power Prayers. Our Sunday worship Services are on Sunday at 10am.
